The Position

Trainee Drainage Operatives

  • Assisting our engineers with all aspects of Drain and Pipe cleaning, surveying, repairs, installation and fault finding.

  • Having safe systems of work and learning how to adapt to each situation accordingly.

  • To be trained in the understanding of how Above and Below Ground Drainage systems operate, the range of problems encountered and the available solutions.

  • Travelling to a range of different sites domestic, commercial, construction and insurance with our engineers.

  • Responsibilities will be to adapt themselves to working to our standards and to build their knowledge of the trade. To be clean, tidy, presentable and polite at all times.

The Person

  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence

  • Be well organised and have a positive attitude

  • Strong work ethic

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Be able to work as part of a team

  • Must be willing to work some weekends and evenings

  • Hold a valid CSCS Card or be competent to pass the exam to obtain one

Pay and Benefits

  • Permanent Position/Full Time

  • Pension

  • Ongoing Training

  • Free Parking

  • Salary; £18,720 to £28,000 p/a

The Position

Drainage Engineers

  • Drain Jetting, CCTV Surveys.​

  • Diagnosing problems with customer drainage systems.

  • Work independently or as part of a team

  • Deliver a high standard of technical and customer care

 

  • Work in accordance with Health & Safety and Quality Procedures

 

  • Provide a positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers

 

  • Communicate effectively within a team, providing reports and photos with the use of our real-time paperless reporting system.

The Person

  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence

  • Be well organised and have a positive attitude

  • Strong work ethic

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Hold Full Clean Driving Licence

  • Good Communication Skills

  • Be flexible with working hours - "on call" out of hours emergencies.

Preferred but not essential

  • CSCS Card

  • High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate

  • Confined Space Certificate

  • Salary; £25,000 + upwards p/a, depending on experience

Drain Repair Technician

  • Excavation and drain repairs

  • Patch Relining

  • Drainage alterations

  • CCTV surveys

  • Drainage investigations

  • knowledge and experience in drainage practices

  • Knowledge and experience in general civil engineering practices

  • knowledge and experience in Earthwork practices

  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
